How To Pray For An Hour

How to Pray for 1 Hour

Read: John 16:17-24 | Bible in a Year: Judges 13-15; Luke 6:27-49

Very encouraging post!
Please share with your family, co-workers and friends.

:00 – PRAISE (10 MIN.)
Use a Psalm to form your praise. Mimic the author and pray around their themes.

Be still before God and allow Him to search your heart for wrong-doing (Ps. 139:23) and then confess and repent.

:15 – PETITION (10 MIN.)
Pray for the concerns that are on your heart (Phil. 4:6-7) – family, friends, school, work.

We offer our prayers “With Thanksgiving” (Phil. 4:6). Thank God for His provisions and answers in advance. That’s the muscle of faith at work!

:30 – SING (5 MIN.)
Wrapping our praise and thanksgiving in melody to God is a sure way to lift our hearts and intensify our spiritual longings.

Pray for leaders, unbelievers, missionaries, persecuted believers, and your own testimony.

:55 – PRAISE (5 MIN.)
Finishing our time of prayer in praise reminds us of who God is and that He is worthy of all our adoration!

Suffering can be like a magnet that draws the Christian close to Christ.
